I started making decals for my Jeep Wrangler after my windshield got cracked. It's crazy how often that happens. But that's just one of those things only jeep drivers know.
As someone who makes custom stickers at my Jeep Etsy store I thought I'd make a section about jeep decals. Hopefully this adds some basic traffic to my store.
There must be other jeep owners who might want to get these personalized decals!
At first... I had a bit of doubt anyone would be interested, to be honest. But hundreds of happy customers later...I don't regret that choice.
And now it make me happy to know that jeep drivers all over the world enjoy their personalized stickers that match that spirit of jeep known only by its drivers.
Over the months, as graphic designer and Jeep Wrangler owner, I honed the art of creating windshield decals for my jeep, the widely acclaimed rock climber vehicle for pet moms, as you may know. It all started when my jeep's windshield got shattered into pieces. And this is not uncommon at all. It's what happens when you are either on a highway or do some offroad driving on harsh gravel roads. Nevermind the fact that Jeep's windshield is almost completely straight, compared to most other cars.
As customers asked for their particular breed, I created pretty much every dog decal in existence. Holographic Decals For Your Jeep Windshield
I've been making jeep decals for a long time. This means I had time to think about creating the stickers for your jeep's windshield using alternative materials. Holographic vinyl was one of the options and it turned out great!
You can't easily describe this using just words and images. But the holographic jeep stickers look a lot better in person, they actually change colors from lush pink, to strikingly vibrant blues, yellows and reds as you turn the decal toward a light source. At certain angles that lack the light, the holographic decals may appear silver.
Should you paste these on the inside of your windshield? Well, technically you can. But they can go on drinking cups, coffee mugs, bottles, or any hard surface like plastic or glass. Please do not try applying them to cloth made materials, or objects with whose surface is not fully flat, they won't stick.

For us, owners of little handmade crafts Etsy stores, it's hard to get by in the marketplace with just an Etsy dashboard alone. Why do jeep windshields crack so often? Jeep windshields are surprisingly fragile and often won't survive a rock on direct trajectory toward it. This is in part due to jeep's windshield glass angle. When one cracks, it takes your factory easter egg decals with it, available only when you buy a brand new jeep at a dealership for the first time. Why Jeep Windshields Crack Often?
Jeep Wrangler's windshield gets shattered for multiple reasons:
Flat Design: The relatively flat design of Jeep windshields makes them more susceptible to impact from flying debris, such as rocks and gravel, especially when driving on highways or unpaved roads.
Off-Roading: Jeeps are often used for off-roading activities where the risk of encountering flying debris and experiencing strong vibrations is higher. This rough terrain can cause stress on the windshield, leading to cracks.
Structural Vulnerability: The windshield in Jeeps is more upright compared to those in more aerodynamically designed cars. This positioning exposes it more directly to airborne objects and also means that the impact force is less distributed, both factors contributing to a higher likelihood of cracking.

Decal Application Instructions
Our premium quality decals are not just stickers, they are professionally designed, and put together. All decals come with masking tape. This means that when you receive your decal, it will come between two layers of translucent film, sandwiched between the sticky backing and non-sticky masking tape. However, on the outside both of its sides will be non-sticky and can be touched or held. To apply, first both tapes wrapping the decal must be separated from each other, with the decal still attached to the backing film.
To apply, ensure that the glass surface is clean and free of water, dust or any debris.
Next, separate the decal from its backing tape.
You will separate the backing tape from masking tape by pulling them apart at any of the decal's corners.
The decal itself will remain attached to the masking tape which is to be expected.
Discard the backing tape or paper, and apply the decal together with masking tape onto the surface.
Burnish the decal with a thin plastic object like a credit card, or something similar.
Carefully peel off the masking tape from the glass surface and your decal, which has a stronger grip, will remain stuck on the windshield.
